About The Artist

My artwork primarily consists of street photography and conceptual imagery. The subject of
my street photography captures fleeting moments of rare days when I travel, or merely the most mundane
of moments of society as they pass by. Patience and perfectionism consumes my body of work

where the act of traversing the urban landscape is the primary component of the photographic process.

The famous 20th-century photographer, Vivian Maier, has inspired a good portion of my
work with a style of solo street photography, taking elements such as type of camera and
dimensions of film used for images. That has carried over to the other black and white photography in
my body of work as well, which includes work done on the subject of depression and loneliness.
Most of my images are in some way driven by depression in which I hope to highlight its consequences
using nothing but what's within the edges of the image. They also becomes the method of coping with
the lowest point of life, especially when it involves existentialism and introspection. Despite my street
work being neutral on emotion, my subject matter continues to illustrate the dark emotions I experience
as well as giving everyone else an idea of what it's like to not feel normal. Perfectionism and anxiety
are both fuel and fire for the type of work I'm willing to share.
